The Programme of the 34th National Congress of the Italian Association for the Study of Pain will offer, as always, a wide range of choices in the fields of pathophysiology, pharmacology, clinical aspects but mostly new therapeutic options.
The format, including plenary sessions, workshops, symposia and poster sessions, will this year be enriched by the newly reintroduced refresher courses on 'hot topics', to update participants in areas where most advancement has recently been achieved. Special initiatives will be devoted to debating the new national law on palliative care and pain therapy and its outcome during the first year of application.
