The Boriassi Biological Estate has been AIAB (Italian Association of Biological Agriculture) guaranteed by ICEA certification since 1993. It therefore produces only and exclusively in compliance with rules of fundamental importance such as distance from sources of pollution, elimination of herbicides and chemical products for cultivation and to treat the vines and grapes. Also, use of copper and sulphur to protect the plants is reduced to the minimum indispensable. For the Boriassi Cellar, rather than simply a form of certification (the first in the Province), the decision to adopt biological agriculture reflects a philosophy of life and of respect for the environment.
